Al Furjan is a residential community of townhouses, villas and low-rise apartment buildings between Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, next to Discovery Gardens and not far from Ibn Battuta Mall. The Red Line branch to Expo City has a station here, but the community is spread out, and a car is the easier way to get around. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 15 to 20 minutes away, so for Al Furjan we bring the car to your townhouse or building. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Parking in Al Furjan
Townhouses and villas have their own parking, and apartment buildings have car parks with a limited number of spaces, usually one per apartment, so if you are renting an apartment, ask the host whether a space is included and how to get the access pass. Visitor parking in residential complexes is usually limited to about four hours and watched by security. Do not park at villa gates or on the sand between houses. Most Red Line stations have free park-and-ride car parks, so on a weekday morning you can leave the car at a station and take the metro into Downtown or DIFC instead of sitting in traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Getting around from Al Furjan
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) runs past the community and has no Salik gates, which makes it the easy route without Salik gates towards Abu Dhabi, DWC and the Sharjah side of the city. On Sheikh Zayed Road, the Jebel Ali gate by Ibn Battuta Mall, on the way out towards Abu Dhabi, charges AED 4.20 or 6.30 per crossing depending on the hour. The Marina and JBR are 15 to 20 minutes away, Al Maktoum airport, DWC, about 20 minutes, and Downtown about 30 minutes outside rush hour.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
