Dubai Silicon Oasis is a technology park and residential district inland, next to Academic City. The road to Hatta starts at the interchange near Silicon Oasis and runs due east through the desert into the mountains. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 30 to 40 minutes away outside rush hour, so for Silicon Oasis we bring the car to your building. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Parking in Silicon Oasis
Most residential and office buildings have their own car parks; if you are renting an apartment, ask the host about a parking space and an access pass before you arrive. Visitor parking in residential complexes is usually limited to about four hours and watched by security. Where there are Parkin street bays, the standard rules apply: pay by zone code in the Parkin app, AED 4.20 an hour at peak, AED 2.10 to 4.20 off-peak depending on the zone, and free from 10 pm to 8 am, on Sundays and on public holidays.
Getting around from Silicon Oasis
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road run nearby, and neither has Salik gates, so most trips from here cost nothing in tolls. Emirates Road is almost always clear even when Sheikh Zayed Road is jammed. Around Academic City and the school districts traffic builds from 7:00 to 8:00 and from 14:00 to 15:00. Silicon Oasis is a convenient base for trips to Hatta and the desert.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
