Dubai South is a new district growing around Al Maktoum airport, DWC, and Expo City, with residential communities, logistics and business parks. The Red Line branch ends at Expo City, but the district is spread out, and most people here get around by car. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 30 to 40 minutes away, so for Dubai South we bring the car to your home or office. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Parking in Dubai South
Most residential buildings and villa communities have their own parking; if you are renting an apartment, ask the host whether a space is included and how to get the access pass. Visitor parking in residential complexes is usually limited to about four hours and watched by security. In villa areas do not park at villa gates or on the sand between houses. Where there are Parkin street bays, the standard rules apply: pay by zone code in the Parkin app, AED 4.20 an hour at peak, AED 2.10 to 4.20 off-peak depending on the zone, and free from 10 pm to 8 am, on Sundays and on public holidays.
Getting around from Dubai South
DWC is about 5 to 10 minutes away. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311) and Emirates Road (E611) run nearby and have no Salik gates; the E311 is clear at any hour and, on the way to Abu Dhabi, also avoids the Darb gate at Ghantoot, which charges AED 4 at any hour. Before returning a car at DWC, the petrol stations on the E311 near Jebel Ali are handy for filling up. The Marina is 30 to 40 minutes away, the centre about 50 minutes.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai, including DWC airport, are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
