Al Qusais is a residential and light-industrial district in the north-east of Dubai, near DXB airport and the border with Sharjah, with apartment blocks, schools and offices. The Green Line of the metro ends here, so within the district you can manage without a car, but for trips across the city and to other emirates a car is far more convenient. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 40 to 50 minutes away outside rush hour, so for Al Qusais we bring the car to your building. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Parking in Al Qusais
The residential blocks are densely built, and in the evening, when residents come home, street spaces between the buildings are hard to find, so allow a few minutes for an evening return. Street parking follows the standard Parkin rules: pay by zone code in the Parkin app, AED 4.20 an hour at peak, 8 to 10 in the morning and 4 to 8 in the evening, AED 2.10 to 4.20 off-peak depending on the zone, and free from 10 pm to 8 am, on Sundays and on public holidays. Many buildings have their own car parks; if you are renting an apartment, ask the host whether a space is included.
Getting around from Al Qusais
DXB airport is about 10 minutes away. The road to Sharjah on the E11 and Al Ittihad Road jams for an hour or more, outbound in the evening and inbound in the morning, and the Al Mamzar Salik gates stand on Al Ittihad Road at the Dubai border, AED 4.20 or 6.30 per crossing depending on the hour. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), nearby, has no Salik gates and is the usual route towards the northern emirates and, across the city, towards the Marina. Deira is 10 to 15 minutes away.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai, including DXB airport, are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
