Palm Jumeirah is the palm-shaped island off the coast between the Marina and Jumeirah, with villas on the fronds, hotels along the outer crescent, Atlantis at its tip, Nakheel Mall on the trunk and The Pointe waterfront. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 10 to 15 minutes away, so for the Palm we bring the car to your hotel, apartment or villa. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Parking on the Palm
Hotels on the island usually park guests' cars for free, though some five-star properties charge AED 30 to 60 for valet retrieval, worth checking when you book. For a delivered car, ask reception where to leave it. Nakheel Mall and The Pointe have their own car parks. The trunk road of the Palm is a busy stretch with no shoulder, and parking wardens on the island are active, so do not stop on the carriageway, even for a quick photo. Villas on the fronds have private driveways, but do not leave the car at a neighbour's gate.
Getting on and off the island
The Palm has a single entrance from the mainland, and on Friday and Saturday evenings it gets busy. Plan the return from dinner or a beach club with some time to spare. From the Palm the Marina and JBR are 10 to 15 minutes away, Downtown about 25 to 30 minutes, and DXB airport about 35 minutes. The Pointe, facing Atlantis, is one of the easiest spots on the island for a photo with the car; park legally at the car park there rather than on the road.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai, the Palm included, are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
