Discovery Gardens is a residential community of low-rise apartment buildings set among gardens and grouped into themed clusters, between Ibn Battuta Mall and Al Furjan. The Red Line branch to Expo City has a Discovery Gardens station, but the clusters are spread out, and with a car getting around is easier, especially in summer. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 10 to 15 minutes away, so for Discovery Gardens we bring the car to your building. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Delivery and parking in Discovery Gardens
The buildings within a cluster look alike, so send us the building's Makani number along with the cluster name and building number: the driver will come straight to the right entrance. Most buildings have their own parking with a limited number of spaces, usually one per apartment, so if you are renting an apartment, ask the host whether a space is included. Visitor parking in residential complexes is usually limited to about four hours and watched by security, and in the evening, when residents come home, free spaces are hard to find. Ibn Battuta Mall has a large car park with electric car chargers.
Getting around from Discovery Gardens
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road (E311), nearby, has no Salik gates and is the usual route towards Abu Dhabi, DWC and the Sharjah side of the city. On Sheikh Zayed Road, the Jebel Ali gate by Ibn Battuta Mall, on the way out towards Abu Dhabi, charges AED 4.20 or 6.30 per crossing depending on the hour. Most Red Line stations have free park-and-ride car parks, so on a weekday morning you can leave the car at a station and take the metro into Downtown or DIFC. The Marina and JBR are 10 to 15 minutes away, Downtown about 30 minutes outside rush hour.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
