We work to the same rules as our partners in Dubai, so the terms on this site match the ones you will get when the rental agreement is drawn up.
Who can rent
- driver aged 21 or over;
- at least one year of driving experience;
- a national driving licence from your own country — Russian, Ukrainian and others are accepted;
- an International Driving Permit (IDP) — required for some countries.
If you did not arrange an IDP before your trip, we can help you get one here: electronic for AED 250, paper for AED 500. It is valid for three years.
Documents
UAE citizens and residents: passport or Emirates ID and a driving licence.
Foreign nationals: passport, entry visa or immigration card, and a national driving licence.
Payment and deposit
We accept cash, bank cards and e-wallets. When you pay by card the payment processor may add its own transaction fee.
We do not take a security deposit for the car. When you pay by card your bank places a temporary hold on the rental amount — this is a normal pre-authorisation, and the money is then taken as payment rather than held on top of it.
Rental periods and prices
- minimum rental period is one day;
- overnight rental from 8 pm to 10 am comes with a 50% discount, but you collect and return the car yourself;
- rentals of 29 days or longer save up to 40% against the daily rate;
- prices on the site are shown per day, week and month, with no hidden charges.
Fuel, mileage and delivery
The car is handed over with a full tank. On rentals longer than five days the first tank is free.
The included mileage is shown on each car page, normally 250 km per day. Extra kilometres are charged separately: the rate is AED 1 to 10 per kilometre depending on the class of car. The exact rate is shown there too and set out in the rental agreement.
Delivery within Dubai is free on rentals from 7 days: we bring the car to your hotel, your home or the airport. On shorter rentals delivery and collection cost AED 210. At the end of the rental our driver collects it wherever suits you.
Who may drive
Only a person named in the rental agreement may drive the car. Up to two drivers can be listed in a single agreement and they may share the driving.
Insurance, fines and conduct
Insurance is included in the rental price and we are available daily from 10 am to 7 pm.
Dubai police fines are paid by the renter. Speeding accounts for roughly 90% of all fines. Drivers are also fined for running red lights, tailgating, driving without a valid licence and driving under the influence.
Smoking in the car is not allowed and carries a fine. Alcohol may only be transported with the appropriate licence; a small quantity from Duty Free for personal use is normally not an issue.
If you have an accident
Contact us straight away. Do not leave the scene until the police have completed their report, as the insurer will not accept the claim without it. We will guide you from there.
