Jumeirah Beach Residence, JBR for short, is the line of beachfront towers along the Gulf next to Dubai Marina, with The Walk promenade and the public beach at its feet. Our office is in Princess Tower in the Marina, a five-minute drive away, so JBR gets the same fast handover as the Marina itself: pickup at the office on the day, or delivery to your tower within about 15 minutes when a car is free. Parking at JBR
JBR and the Marina are the busiest parking areas in the city, and in the evening there are almost no free street bays. Street bays at JBR are ordinary Parkin bays in zones A and B: AED 4.20 an hour, premium bays AED 6.30 at peak, 8 to 10 in the morning and 4 to 8 in the evening, and off-peak zone B bays AED 3.15. Street parking is free from 10 pm to 8 am, on Sundays and on public holidays. Pay in the Parkin app with the plate number and the zone code from the sign. For a longer stop the covered car park at The Walk or at Marina Mall is easier; covered car parks set their own rates, usually AED 10 to 20 an hour. If you are staying in a JBR apartment, ask the host about a parking space and an access pass before you arrive.
Getting in and out
JBR and the Marina share only three exits, and around 18:00 getting out of the district can take 20 to 25 minutes. Leaving along Al Sufouh Road by the coast is often faster than the main exit onto Sheikh Zayed Road. Bluewaters Island with the Ain Dubai wheel is across the bridge, Palm Jumeirah is 10 to 15 minutes away, and Downtown is 20 to 30 minutes on Sheikh Zayed Road outside rush hour, passing the Al Barsha and Al Safa Salik gates; Al Khail Road avoids them. The Dubai Tram stops at JBR and links to the metro, handy if you would rather leave the car parked for an evening on The Walk.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together, wherever in the city. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
