Dubai Marina is where our office is, in Princess Tower on Al Marsa Street, so a rental here is usually the quickest to arrange: same-day pickup at the office, or delivery to any building in the Marina, JBR or Bluewaters within about 15 minutes when a car is free. No need to plan a day ahead the way delivery to Abu Dhabi or Fujairah does.
Parking in the Marina
Street parking along the Marina promenade is ordinary Parkin bays in zones A and B, paid in the Parkin app or at a meter: AED 4.20 an hour, premium bays AED 6.30 at peak, 8 to 10 in the morning and 4 to 8 in the evening, and off-peak zone B bays AED 3.15. It is free from 10 pm to 8 am, on Sundays and on public holidays. Most residential towers have visitor parking, usually paid at the gate or arranged through the building's security. Dubai Marina Mall and The Walk in JBR both have large paid parking garages, useful for a longer stop.
Getting around from here
JBR beach and The Walk are a five-minute drive, or a walk across the pedestrian bridge. Palm Jumeirah is 10 to 15 minutes down Al Sufouh Road. Downtown Dubai and Business Bay are 20 to 30 minutes on Sheikh Zayed Road outside rush hour, more like 35 to 40 minutes during the evening peak. The tram line runs through the district, and Dubai Marina Mall and the Marina Walk promenade are an easy walk, useful if you want to leave the car parked for an evening.
