Meydan is a district south of Business Bay, off Al Khail Road, built around Meydan Racecourse, where the Dubai World Cup is run every spring, with the Meydan Hotel overlooking the track and new residential communities of apartment towers and villas around it. There is no metro here, and residents mostly get around by car. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 25 to 30 minutes away outside rush hour, so for Meydan we bring the car to your building or villa. Parking in Meydan
Most buildings have their own car parks with a limited number of spaces, usually one per apartment, so if you are renting an apartment, ask the host whether a space is included and how to get the access pass. Visitor parking in residential complexes is usually limited to about four hours and watched by security. In villa areas do not park at villa gates or on the sand between houses. On race nights the roads around the racecourse fill up, so allow extra time if you live nearby.
Getting around from Meydan
Al Khail Road, which runs past the district, has only one Salik gate, on the Business Bay Crossing bridge, so many trips from here cost nothing in tolls; when Sheikh Zayed Road is jammed, Al Khail Road usually flows. Downtown and Business Bay are about 10 to 15 minutes away, DXB airport about 15 to 20 minutes, and the Marina 25 to 30 minutes outside rush hour.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
