Dubai Sports City is a residential community of apartment buildings and villas inland, built around the Els Club golf course and the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, next to Motor City and close to JVC. The metro does not reach it, and most residents and guests get around by car. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 15 to 20 minutes away, so for Dubai Sports City we bring the car to your building or villa. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Parking in Dubai Sports City
Most buildings have their own car parks with a limited number of spaces, usually one per apartment. If you are renting an apartment, ask the host whether a space is included and how to get the access pass. Visitor parking in residential complexes is usually limited to about four hours and watched by security; overstaying can end with a wheel clamp or towing. On cricket match days the streets around the stadium fill up, so if you are staying nearby, allow extra time to get in and out. In villa areas do not park at villa gates or on the sand between houses.
Getting around from Dubai Sports City
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road runs past the community and has no Salik gates; neither does Emirates Road, and Al Khail Road has only one, on the Business Bay Crossing bridge, so many trips from here cost nothing in tolls. When Sheikh Zayed Road is jammed, Al Khail Road usually flows and Emirates Road is almost always clear. Al Qudra Lakes and the desert road are a short drive inland. The Marina and JBR are 15 to 20 minutes away, Mall of the Emirates about 15 minutes, Downtown about 25 minutes outside rush hour.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
