Mirdif is a residential district of villas and low-rise buildings on the east side of DXB airport, with City Centre Mirdif as its main mall. Our office is in Dubai Marina, 35 to 45 minutes away outside rush hour, so for Mirdif we bring the car to your villa or building. The handover takes about 10 minutes. Parking in Mirdif
Most of Mirdif is villas with their own driveways. Do not park at a neighbour's gate or on the sand between houses: neighbours call an inspector faster than you would think. Where there are Parkin street bays, the standard rules apply: pay by zone code in the Parkin app, AED 4.20 an hour at peak, 8 to 10 in the morning and 4 to 8 in the evening, AED 2.10 to 4.20 off-peak depending on the zone, and free from 10 pm to 8 am, on Sundays and on public holidays. Large malls usually have electric car chargers.
Driving in and from Mirdif
The large roundabouts in Mirdif have traffic lights on the circle itself, which confuses newcomers: follow the lights, not the usual give-way rule. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road runs past the district and has no Salik gates, which makes it the easy route towards Sharjah, the northern emirates and the desert. The Airport Tunnel on Beirut Street, next to DXB, has a Salik gate, AED 4.20 or 6.30 per crossing depending on the hour. Deira and the Creek are 15 to 20 minutes away. Mirdif is one of the most convenient bases for trips to the east coast and the northern emirates.
Delivery terms
On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai, including DXB airport, are free. On shorter rentals they cost AED 210 for both legs together. There is no deposit on any car, and 250 km a day are included.
