Lamborghini Urus: two versions
The Urus 2023, 650 hp, 5 seats, 1,800 AED a day, is the standard version. The Urus Performante 2024, 666 hp, 2,200 AED a day, has one fewer seat, 4 instead of 5, the rear bench swapped for two sport seats with side bolstering. The extra 400 AED a day for the Performante buys just 16 more hp on paper, a small gain, but combined with a firmer suspension and tuning the Performante is considered the version for the track and spirited driving, not only for the city.
Porsche Cayenne: four versions
The Cayenne lineup in the fleet is noticeably wider: the Coupe 2025 with a sloping roofline at 799 AED, the cheapest option, the S V8 2024 and the GTS V8 2024 at the same price point, 949 AED a day, and the GTS 2023 at 999 AED. The matching price on the S V8 and GTS V8 lets you pick between them by taste in trim and tuning without paying more for one over the other. The GTS 2023 is worth a second look depending on rental length: it costs more for a single day, 999 versus 949 for the S V8 and GTS V8, but less for a week, 6,000 versus 6,199, and more again for a month, 22,000 versus 19,499. Book the GTS 2023 for a week-length rental, and the S V8 or GTS V8 for a single day or a month.
Character: Lamborghini versus Porsche
The Urus in any version stays unmistakably Lamborghini: angular body, exhaust note, instant recognition in a hotel valet line, the same driving position as the Aventador or Huracan. It is a car you book to be seen in. The Cayenne is built differently: the same sporting character and a badge with a long racing history, but more understated on the outside, recognised by enthusiasts rather than a crowd. Both SUVs handle Sheikh Zayed Road at speed with equal confidence, but the Urus adds a status layer, and that is what most of the extra cost pays for.
Practicality and seating
The standard Urus and every Cayenne version are built for a full family or group, 5 seats as the class norm. The Urus Performante gives up one seat for sport seats in the back row, a deliberate trade for driving feel rather than carrying a fifth passenger. If you are travelling as four with luggage the difference is invisible, if you need to fit five, skip the Performante and take the standard Urus or any Cayenne version instead.
The price gap
The standard Urus at 1,800 AED costs more than double the cheapest Cayenne Coupe at 799 AED. The Urus Performante at 2,200 AED costs almost two and a quarter times the top Cayenne GTS 2023 at 999 AED. The monthly gap is even wider: 30,600 AED for the Urus against 18,000 to 22,000 AED for the Cayenne range, and 37,400 AED for the Urus Performante against the same range. The official power figures for the Cayenne versions in our fleet are confirmed on request, but the premium for the Lamborghini is first and foremost a premium for the badge, the exclusivity, and simply seeing fewer of them on the road.
Who picks which
The Urus is usually booked for a single striking moment: a photoshoot, a birthday, a business meeting where making an impression from the first second matters. The Cayenne is usually chosen by renters who want a performance SUV for the whole trip rather than one dramatic appearance, for a week around Dubai with trips to Abu Dhabi, for everyday driving on holiday where handling and comfort matter more than how many heads turn in the parking lot.
What is included
Terms are the same across all six versions: no deposit, minimum driver age 21, minimum 1 year of driving experience, minimum rental 1 day. Insurance is included, full zero-excess cover is available as a paid add-on. The included mileage is 250 km a day, the car is handed over with a full tank, and on rentals of 5 days or more the first tank is included. Delivery and collection anywhere in Dubai are free on rentals of 7 days or more, on shorter rentals delivery and collection together cost AED 210.
