Three MINIs in our fleet

People rent a MINI in Dubai for character, not for economy: a compact car with quick steering, a recognisable look and easy parking. We have three, and all three are offered with no deposit and a minimum rental from 1 day. Prices are as of October 2026, and the current price is always on the car page.

  • MINI Cooper S 2024: a three-door hatchback with a 2.0-litre turbo engine, front-wheel drive and four seats. 280 AED a day, 1,680 AED a week, 5,600 AED a month.
  • MINI Cooper Convertible 2024: a 2.0-litre 178 hp engine, 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds, four seats and a 215-litre boot. 300 AED a day, 1,800 AED a week, 6,000 AED a month.
  • MINI Countryman 2025: the biggest MINI at 4.4 metres, with a 1.5-litre 170 PS engine, five seats and a boot of 450 to 1,450 litres. 350 AED a day, 2,100 AED a week, 7,000 AED a month.

To be straight about it: if you simply want an inexpensive car, the Golf costs nearly half as much. A MINI is chosen for its character and its format, not for the price.

A small car in Dubai traffic

Dubai was built around the car, so the roads are wide and big interchanges and multi-lane highways are no problem for a MINI. With around 170 horsepower it joins a highway confidently. The real advantages of a small body show up in town.

  • Parking. In Dubai Marina, Downtown and the malls, many bays are taken by big SUVs. A short MINI fits into gaps where a large SUV will not.
  • Turning and lane changes. A short wheelbase helps in tight car parks, in the side streets of Jumeirah and when you need to cross lanes for an exit.
  • Fuel. A small engine usually burns less than a V6 or V8, but we do not publish exact consumption figures, so go by the car description.

There are downsides too. The boot is small: the Cooper Convertible holds 215 litres, enough for two people with cabin bags but not for a family with suitcases. Treat the rear seats of the three-door cars as extra space for short hops. For a family, take the Countryman.

The convertible: when to open the roof

The Cooper Convertible roof folds in 18 seconds and can also open partly like a sunroof. In the cooler season, November to March, it is one of the most enjoyable cars for a drive along Jumeirah or the waterfronts. In summer the daytime sun is stronger than it looks: open the roof in the evening or early morning, and keep it closed with the air conditioning on during the day.

Which MINI for whom

  • A couple for a few days: the Cooper Convertible for leisurely driving, or the Cooper S if you prefer a quick hatchback.
  • One person on a business trip: the Cooper S, easy to park by an office or hotel.
  • A family, or two people with a lot of luggage: the Countryman, with five seats and split-folding rear seats.

Cost and savings

Rented for a week, the Cooper S costs 1,680 AED instead of 1,960 at the daily rate. A month is 5,600 AED, while 30 days at the daily price would be 8,400 AED. For the Cooper Convertible a week is 1,800 AED instead of 2,100, and a month is 6,000 AED instead of 9,000. On rentals of 7 days or more, delivery and return within Dubai are free; on shorter ones they cost 210 AED for both together.
