The Nissan Patrol is everywhere in the Emirates: with families, with companies, with people who head out to the desert and the mountains at weekends. It is a big body-on-frame SUV with a roomy cabin, and for many visitors it is their first experience of a car this size. We have three Patrols of different years and trims, from AED 259 a day. Here is which versions are available, what they cost, who they suit and what to keep in mind when booking.

Which Nissan Patrols you can rent and what they cost

Prices are in dirhams as of October 2026, a week is 7 days and a month is 30 days. The current price is always on each car's page.

  • Patrol Titanium 2021. The most affordable option: AED 259 a day for a full-size 7-seat SUV. A good fit when you need a big car on a tight budget.
  • Patrol Titanium 2025. A new-generation car with 8 seats. It comes from a partner company, so its terms are different, see below.
  • Patrol Platinum V8 2024. The top trim with a V8 engine and 8 seats. Available from 1 day with no deposit.

Why the Patrol is so popular in the UAE

The reasons are practical, and they are the same reasons to rent one.

  • Cabin space. Seven or eight seats, and the third row is genuinely usable. A family with children or a group of friends fits in one car instead of two.
  • Luggage. Suitcases for the whole family usually go in without a struggle after you land in Dubai, especially with the third row folded.
  • Highway comfort. A big, heavy car is relaxed on the long roads between the emirates, whether to Abu Dhabi, Al Ain or the east coast.
  • Mountains and rough roads. The high seating position and four-wheel drive help on the roads to Hatta and Jebel Jais. If you plan to go onto sand, discuss it with us when booking; we have a separate article on desert driving.
  • Visibility and confidence. From up high you see the traffic well on Dubai's wide multi-lane roads, and many drivers simply feel calmer that way.

Who a Patrol rental suits

  • Families with children. Especially if there are five or more of you, or grandparents are coming along. One car instead of two is simpler and usually cheaper.
  • Groups heading out of town. A trip to Hatta, Fujairah or Ras Al Khaimah for six or eight people.
  • Long stays. For a month the 2021 Patrol Titanium costs AED 6,790, about AED 226 a day, which is saloon-car money.
  • Business use. Meeting guests at the airport, travelling with colleagues or equipment.

If you are choosing between the Patrol and the Toyota Land Cruiser, we have a separate comparison article; this one is only about the Patrol.

How much a week or a month saves

  • Titanium 2021: a week is AED 1,690, about AED 241 a day. A month is AED 6,790 instead of 7,770 at the daily rate.
  • Platinum V8 2024: a week is AED 3,300 instead of 3,850, about AED 471 a day. A month is AED 11,000 instead of 16,500, about AED 367 a day.
  • Titanium 2025: the minimum is 7 days, so you start with a week: AED 2,700, about AED 386 a day. A month is AED 9,000, exactly AED 300 a day.

For cars from our own fleet, delivery and return anywhere in Dubai are free from 7 days. Shorter rentals pay AED 210 for delivery and return together.

The partner Patrol: what to consider

The 2025 Patrol Titanium is provided by a partner company with its own terms: a deposit of AED 1,000, a 7-day minimum, delivery at AED 80 each way (free from 30 days), and no driving to Oman.

Take a week as an example. The 2025 Titanium comes to AED 2,700 plus AED 160 for delivery and return, AED 2,860 in total, with an AED 1,000 deposit. The Platinum V8 costs AED 3,300 for a week with free delivery and no deposit. For a month, the partner 2025 Titanium at AED 9,000 with free delivery is cheaper than the Platinum V8 at AED 11,000. If you plan to drive to Oman, choose a car from our own fleet and tell us when booking.

Most cars need no deposit. If a car needs one, it is shown on its page.
