In Dubai you do not have to collect your car from an office. It can be brought to your hotel, your building or the airport exit, and returned somewhere else in the city. For a visitor that saves time on the first and the last day. Here is how it works and what it costs.
Where you can receive the car
- Our office: Princess Tower, Dubai Marina, open daily 10:00 to 19:00. You collect and return the car yourself at no extra charge.
- Hotel or apartment: a manager brings the car, the contract and the keys to the address you give.
- The airport: see our guide to car rental at Dubai airport for the details and agree the meeting point when booking.
- Any other address in Dubai: a residential complex, an office, a restaurant or a villa.
The easiest way to give an exact address is a pin from your map app or the Makani number of the building. It saves time looking for the entrance, especially in large complexes in Dubai Marina and Downtown.
What delivery costs
| Rental terms | Delivery and return within Dubai |
|---|---|
| Most cars, rental of 7 days or more | Free |
| Most cars, rental under 7 days | 210 AED for delivery and return together |
| Partner company cars | 80 AED each way, free from 30 days |
The 210 AED covers both the drop-off and the pick-up, so you do not pay again for the second trip. Partner cars have their own terms, shown on the car page together with the deposit and the minimum period.
A worked example
Take the Toyota Camry 2025: 180 AED a day and 1,170 AED a week (prices as of October 2026, the current price is always on the car page).
- 3 days with delivery: 3 × 180 = 540 AED plus 210 AED for delivery and return, 750 AED in total.
- 7 days at the weekly rate: 1,170 AED, delivery and return are free.
If you plan 5 or 6 days, compare the daily total with the weekly rate. A week with free delivery can come out no dearer than 5 days plus 210 AED. Send us your dates and we will work out the options.
On a partner car such as the Nissan Altima 2025 (980 AED a week), delivery and return at 80 AED each way add up to 160 AED, but these cars are rented for a minimum of 3 or 7 days and with a 1,000 AED deposit. Check the terms on the car page.
Returning the car somewhere else
A common case: you collect at the airport but fly out from a different point, or you live in the Marina and want to hand the car back near your hotel before you leave. Within Dubai this is simple: returning to an address in the city is part of the same delivery service. We come to the agreed place and time, inspect the car with you and take the keys.
If you need to return the car in another emirate or outside Dubai altogether, ask us first. We do not promise this in advance, and the terms are discussed case by case.
How the handover and return go
- Booking. Give the address, the date and time of delivery and where you plan to return the car.
- Delivery. The manager checks your passport and licence, shows you the condition of the car and signs the contract. We photograph the documents ourselves.
- Inspection. Walk around the car with the manager and make sure every scratch and chip is noted. Our article on inspecting a rental car has a full checklist.
- Return. At the agreed time the manager inspects the car and checks the fuel and mileage. Check the contract for the fuel level required.
- Settlement. You pay fuel, Salik and fines at actual cost. Salik and fines sometimes arrive late, as explained in our Salik article.
Practical tips
- Allow around 15 minutes for the meeting: document checks and inspection take time.
- If you have an early flight, agree the return in advance. The office is open 10:00 to 19:00, and delivery or return at other times is arranged separately.
- If your flight is delayed, simply tell us so the manager does not wait for nothing.
- For tricky addresses, send the Makani number or a location pin in a messenger.
There is no fuss: collect the car at your hotel, drive around Dubai and hand it back wherever suits you. Book ahead, especially in the busy season, so the car you want is free on the day you need it.
